It was 1979 when inventor and sport fisherman Mickey Rupp set out to build "the finest outriggers you can buy,” the year was spent designing, prototyping and testing his new ideas. Rupp Marine, Inc. was founded a year later as demand grew for these new user friendly designs from both local fisherman and boat builders alike.
